You sensed it, you knew it…and yes, it’s back! Windham Theatre Guild is hosting Barebones 24hr Theatre Workshop VI!!

We invite you to come play along at the sixth (yes, sixth!) Barebones 24hr Theatre Workshop! Those involved are challenged to write a play, rehearse it, and perform it in less than one day!  This is a fantastic challenge of creativity and stamina, especially for those new to the theatre who always wanted to give acting, directing or playwriting a try! No experience necessary!  Age 18 and up!

Take a leap into the unknown! We are looking for 6 directors, 6 writers and 24 actors for a weekend of theatrical fun! Sign up opened on Monday, Oct 1st, and closes when we have reached our limit or on Monday, November 5th.  As a participant, you must be available for both Friday evening and all day Saturday.

Email WTGBareBones@gmail.com  with your contact information, participation preference (actor, writer, or director) with 1 being the most desired and 3 being the least (if there is something you absolutely won't do, please let us know that as well).  Participation is on a first come, first serve basis.  All other applicants will be placed on a standby list. Michele and/or Jill will get back to you and can answer any questions you may have.

The workshop begins 7pm-9pm on Friday, November 16th , for an all hands introduction and then continues throughout the next day, Saturday, the 17th starting at 8am with rehearsals and tech throughout the day. Then at 8pm that evening, six fresh-faced, new to the world, wholly original pieces will be performed at the Burton Leavitt Theatre in Willimantic, CT.
